LUSCIOUS LOCKS

Hey loves, Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I hope you all have a relaxing weekend filled with amazing BBQ and laughs with family! One of the MOST questions I get asking literally all the time is, "How do you get your hair SO long!?" Well in today's post I'm going to share all of my secrets of how I keep my hair long and healthy!

GET YOUR HAIR NICE AND DIRTY

This is such a simple tip! Washing your hair too often is really damaging, so sometimes it's best to let your natural oils condition your hair. I usually leave my hair dirty for about 3-4 days before washing it. The key to not looking completely grubby and greasy? Dry Shampoo!

PROTECT YOUR HAIR FROM HEAT

It's really bad because I always forget to do this, but you should definitely invest in a heat protector spray if you're always straightening and curling your hair like me. I recommend using the Sexy Hair- Heat Defense 450 Hot Tool Spray!

USE THE RIGHT PRODUCTS
When it comes to products, there are so many out there it's hard to know what works and what doesn't, what's worth the spend and what's not, and what's actually helping or hurting your hair.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: Dry shampoo is a lifesaver for me! One factor that can keep your hair from growing longer is over washing your hair! Dry shampoo is a great combatant of that.
Maui Moisture- Heal & Hydrate Hair Mask: This is my absolute favorite hair mask! It's so important to make sure you give some extra love to your hair! Your hair goes through heat, hair spray and breakage, so doing a mask once a week will leave your hair feeling AMAZING! This product mends split ends and leaves a healthy glow after every use. I promise you guys, I can't stop touching my hair after I use it, because of how soft it feels!

LET YOUR HAIR AIR DRY
This tip may also be very unpopular with you guys but it's an important step! Every time we bring heat to our hair, we're drying it out and damaging the strand. After I wash my hair I always rinse it our with cold water, the cold water helps seal your hair cuticles and lays it out smoothly. Using cold water also helps with your hair to dry faster from air drying!

I hope all of these tips were helpful! I'd love to know what your favorite hair products are so I can try them out! Let me know in the comments!

love, sienna
